I'm Stefanie Kamps, founder of All Minds On Deck. 

I help individuals and teams in tech and climate to show up more authentically, courageously, and whole-heartedly.

How I got here

For someone who likes predictability, my 15-year corporate journey has been amazingly unpredictable and marked by frequent change. A German native, I moved countries several times and worked in content, SEO, project, marketing, and product (leadership) roles. I was employed with Amazon as well as late-stage start-ups to IPO. I presented in SVP and CEO meetings and wrote strategy documents for projects that were worth several hundred million dollars. The launches I co-led got a shoutout from Amazon's founder in a company all-hands. 

A thing I learned through it all: Tech needs more humanity. 

You may share that belief: Of all leaders you know, how many would you follow to a new job? Of all teams you were with, how many sabotaged themselves interpersonally? Of all peers you worked with, how many showed forms of toxic behavior? I'm intrigued by what people really are about when the pressure valve is open. Imagine the workplaces we could create with an emphasis on human qualities like self-awareness, empathy, courage, and integrity. 

This excitement and my interest in personal development is what continually got me into coaching. I graduated from the Co-Active Training Institute's Coaching Program, one of the world's oldest and most established coaching universities, and am a trained Organization and Relationship Systems Coach. I coach individuals and teams and work with concepts from positive psychology (strengths), non-violent communication (needs-based expression), global dexterity (cultural adaption), and science-based mindfulness.

Climate work

In 2021, while my native Germany grappled with a once-in-a-millennium flood, my adopted home of Seattle in the US faced its own crisis, battling wildfires and a heat dome with never-recorded temperatures. I moved from dutiful recycling to full-blown climate anxiety. The climate crisis is a profoundly multi-dimensional problem, but the emergence of amazing tech products and new organizations working at full throttle to scale as quickly as possible gives me hope for change. That's why I'm increasingly working with leaders and teams in the climate tech space.
